岗位职责：

1.Responsible for plant on-time delivery metrics (OTP, SFR), customer service metrics (AWSD), and logistics metrics (freight as a percentage of sales)
2.Determine material requirements through analysis of kanban levels, current forecast, and inventory review. Support production with appropriate material procurement. Provide timely updates and corrective actions to production personnel regarding material delays.
3.Monitor transfer and sales volumes compared to volumes forecast.
4.Establish production forecasts consistent with marketing sales forecasts and sales history.
5.Establish distribution system & finished goods stocking levels consistent with customer service goals and sales volumes.
6.Develop, maintain, and implement the master production schedule consistent with forecasts and distribution stocking levels while allowing for a smooth flow of the manufacturing process.
7.Monitor the database (MAPICS COM) to insure optimal system and control performance.
8.Monitor current trends and developments in materials management techniques and practices.
9.Develop for internal application and champion implementing those professional techniques or practices that improve our ability to satisfy our customers.
10.Serve as liaison to plant, division, or corporate systems development for systems impacting our internal customer order management process.
11.Monitor plant and distribution finished goods inventories. Serving as internal consultant for the plant functions responsible for managing the inventory.
12.Supervise customer support and shipping personnel.

Job qualification:
1.In depth knowledge of production and inventory control principles and concepts including Lean, MRP Systems, and logistics concepts.
2.Thorough knowledge of the products, operations, manufacturing processes and material flow.
3.General knowledge of MAPICS ERP and VISTA systems with in depth understanding of the aspects effecting the production planning.
4.3-5 years planning and/or production management experience is required.
5.1-3 years supervisory experience required.
