岗位职责：: Perform value-engineering analysis on current processes and designs. Investigate cost-saving measures wherever possible and prepare the necessary ECOs or help facilitate customer ECOˇs in support of Newportˇs catalog/OEM sub-assembly business.

Develop and document manufacturing process for mechanical products, including assembly, alignment and testing. Take from prototype stage into full sales released product stage.

Resolve product and process failures, define and implement corrective action plans to eliminate failure modes..

Keep abreast of state-of-the-art developments in relevant manufacturing technologies and production equipment. Prepare and champion proposals for improvements and upgrades of manufacturing capability. Specify the application of production equipment. Prepare and implement capital improvement proposals.

Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.

Create routings and conduct process improvements.

As the contact window with mother plant or design center, make sure we are using latest BOM/drawing and other technical information for our product
